Here is an easy process to help you find your feet:
Drive from Cape Town to Clanwilliam.
Buy food and other fresh supplies at the Spar in town.
Drive to De Pakhuys and report to reception.
Buy the printed bouldering guide.
Rent pads.
Pitch up camp (or other lodging)
Put your food in bags and mark them with your name and the date.
Go climb "Girl on my mind " at "Plato".
Have a "braai" and beers at night in the "lapa" (communial bar area).
You are officially part of the Rocklands family!
Save water! South Africa is in a drought.
Take your own toilet paper.
Buy a printed bouldering route guide at the shop.
Spot one another and be safe.
Go to the bar and socialise.
Take people's hot water that made the fire in the "donkey" (boiler).
Leave paper/rubbish/finger tape lying around.
Steal other peoples food.
Don't drift on the dirt rode - you can get a fine or get banned for life!
